Nau, also Nov (Tajik: Нов), is a town and jamoat in Tajikistan located in Sughd Province south-west of Khujand at 40°8′59″N 69°22′12″E / 40.14972°N 69.37°ECoordinates: 40°8′59″N 69°22′12″E / 40.14972°N 69.37°E. It is the administrative capital of Spitamen district with population of 14,300 (1 January 2008 est.)[1]
