The African Pygmy Goose (Nettapus auritus) is a very small perching duck from sub-Saharan Africa. It is the smallest African waterfowl.[citation needed] It is one of the species to which the Agreement on the Conservation of African-Eurasian Migratory Waterbirds (AEWA) applies.
