Never Let You Go (Third Eye Blind song)

"Never Let You Go" is a song by American rock band Third Eye Blind, released as a single from their 1999 album, Blue. The song was very successful, peaking at #14 on the Billboard Hot 100[1] and also reaching #1 on Canada's Singles chart.[2]
It was included on the soundtrack to the 2002 film, Clockstoppers. A re-recording of this song is available for Rock Band 2 via the Rock Band Network. It is also heard in the 2000 film, Coyote Ugly. Alvin and the Chipmunks covered this song for their 2007 video game Alvin and the Chipmunks.

Jenkins comments in the liner notes of the band's compilation album, A Collection, that it was written about a muse of his at the time, and it was written to 'freak her out' when she heard it on the radio.
