New Trabzon Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Akyazı, Trabzon, Turkey. It will effectively replace the ageing Hüseyin Avni Aker Stadium, which has been in use since the early 1950s.
It is expected to be completed in 2012, and will be used mostly for football matches and will host the homes matches of Trabzonspor. The stadium will have a capacity of nearly 42,000 people and will be totally covered.[1]
