Newkia is the working name for a Singapore-based company founded by ex-Nokia executive Thomas Zilliacus. The company was founded after the announcement that Nokia's devices and services business would be sold to Microsoft.[1]

The company plans to sell Android devices with a Nokia experience, and is planning to release a phone in late 2014.[2]
