Newsbin Pro is a news client used on the Windows operating system. Written in 1995 and distributed as Shareware, it was one of the first news clients dedicated to downloading binary content from Usenet. Newsbin has been under constant development and has been an early adopter to changes in Usenet such as supporting yEnc encoding, parchives, the NZB file format, and the XFeatures NNTP extension for implementing compressed headers.
Newsbin Pro is now in its Version 6 series and has an active Newsbin User Community that contributes to defining new features and helping other users.
