NextGenTel is a Norwegian telecommunications company located in Bergen (HQ), Trondheim, Oslo, Stavanger, and Kristiansand. They offer ADSL, SHDSL, ADSL2+, VDSL2, IP TV, IP Telephony, and are WiMax solutions. They are, with more than 180,000 customers, Norway's second-largest Internet service provider (the largest being Telenor).
The company has bought several smaller ISPs, including FirstMile, PC Support, LOS, Flink and Tele2.[citation needed] Since 2006, NextGenTel has been a fully owned subsidiary of TeliaSonera AB.[1] Prior to this it was listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange.[citation needed]
