Nguyễn Thành Long Giang (born 6 September 1988 in Gò Công township, Tiền Giang, Vietnam) is a Vietnamese footballer. He is playing for Navibank Sài Gòn in Vietnamese Super League. He was called to Vietnam national under-23 football team at 2009 Southeast Asian Games. Even though Giang doesn't have the ideal height for a centerback (1m73) but in return, he is good at reading the game to compensate for the physical disadvantage.
In 2002, when the U-15 National Football Championship was first held in Hà Nội, Long Giang stood out for his blond hair and a very mature playing style for his age. After the success of U21 Giang at Vietnam National U-21 Football Championship in 2006, Long Giang began to raise to fame. He won the Player of The Tournament award in that year and also the year later despite the title are usually won by the players who play in the national team. He played an important role when u22 Vietnam won the Merdeka Cup 2008 in Malaysia.
