Nguyễn Văn Quyết (born 1 July 1991) is a Vietnamese professional footballer who plays as a forward for V.League 1 club Hanoi FC and Vietnam national team.
Văn Quyết made his debut for Vietnam national team in 2011 against Macau and was part of the national team that won the 2018 AFF Championship.
Early life
Quyết was born 27 June 1991 at Thạch Thất, Hà Tây Province, the youngest of six siblings. Quyết began his career as a boy with Thể Công's academy.
International career
On 12 November 2011, Van Quyet netted a quick-fire 13-minute hat-trick to lead Vietnam U23 to a thumping 8-0 victory over Brunei U23 at the 2011 SEA Games.[1]

Controversy
On 13 March 2016, in a match against Sanna Khánh Hòa Quyết was sent off after pushing over the referee who had just made a controversial call.[4]
