Nixie Pixel (real name: Nicole Allen[1]) is a popular video columnist, reporting on open source, Linux in particular, having created the Geekbuzz and OS.ALT shows on Discovery Digital Networks, as well as being a regular columnist on OMG! Ubuntu! and The Escapist. She is popular for her crisp, clean delivery and easy to understand explanations, making many highly technical subjects accessible to the ordinary user.[2] Her tagline is "Talk nerdy to me!" Nicole also broadcasts extensively about gaming, particularly on the Steam platform.
