Nik Halik (born May 15, 1969), is the founder and C.E.O. of Financial Freedom Institute, Lifestyle Revolution, LLC, Money Masters Global, The Thrillionaires and co-founder of iCoach Global. He is a Global Wealth Strategist, Entrepreneur, International Speaker, Civilian Astronaut (An astronaut or cosmonaut is a person trained by a human spaceflight program to command, pilot, or serve as a crew member of a spacecraft.), High-Adrenalin Adventurer and Best-Selling Author. Nik Halik became a multi-millionaire and amassed great wealth through savvy investments in property and the stock market in his late 20’s. His group of companies have financially educated and life coached over 300,000 individuals globally.

[edit] Early Life
Halik was born in Melbourne, Australia. He is the youngest son of poor immigrant Greek parents Konstantinos and Dionisia Halikopoulos from Greece. He was raised in Port Melbourne. Nik suffered with varied medical problems as a young boy and credited his medical recovery to a life screenplay of goals he wrote as an 8 year old. His screenplay listed his top 10 goals he planned to fulfill in his lifetime. He took an interest in music at an early age, inspired by his father who was an accomplished musician. In his teenage years, Nik re-located to Hollywood, California to study music at the Guitar Institute of Technology in Hollywood. He performed live and recorded in various bands throughout the 1980’s and 1990’s until departing the music industry to pursue other business interests and thrill seeking adventures.

Not only is Nik an entrepreneur, but he is also an avid, thrill seeking adventurer. Among his various expeditions, he was one of the first explorers to dive down five miles and land on the bow of the RMS Titanic. He has summited some of the highest mountains in the world and flown to the edge of space in a Soviet-era built Mig25 to view the curvature of the earth. He is the very first flight-qualified and certified civilian astronaut from Australia and is also set to become the first ever Australian and private space explorer to rocket to the International Space Station. In 2008 Nik was the back-up crew member to Richard Garriott for the Russian Soyuz TMA-13 space mission. Nik is a world traveller and currently resides amongst his private homes in the Greek Islands, Morocco, Los Angeles and Australia.

Space Adventures announced in 2007 that Australian entrepreneur Nik Halik was selected as the backup to Richard Garriott on Garriott’s fall 2008 flight to the International Space Station (ISS). Nik would complete his Cosmonaut certification at the famed Star City complex outside Moscow, Russia (Yuri Gagarin Cosmonauts Training Center) An Astronaut or cosmonaut is a person trained by a human spaceflight program to command, pilot, or serve as a crew member of a spacecraft.
