Nizhniy Pyanj

Nizhniy Pyanj is a town in southern Tajikistan. It lies on the north side of the River Pyanj.

In 2009, it is proposed to extend the Tajikistan Railway across a new bridge over the Pyanj River to connect with the Arghan border post of Shir Khan Bandar.
