Non-commercial
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Non-commercial (also spelled noncommercial) refers to an activity or entity that does not in some sense involve commerce, at least relative to similar activities that do have a commercial objective or emphasis. For example, non-commercial radio stations are typically non-profit and do not run explicit advertisements, included in the United States specific grouping of "non-commercial educational" broadcast. Some Creative Commons licenses include a "non-commercial" option, controversial in definition[1] and application.[2]
