Norsteroid

Norsteroids are a derivative of a steroid that have elements removed from a side chain or ring.[1]
Examples include:
- Norpregnene (based upon a pregnene)
- Norpregnatriene (based upon a pregnatriene)
- 19-norprogesterone (based upon a progesterone)
- 19-nortestosterone (based upon a testosterone)
