North Jersey Media Group (NJMG) is an independent, family-owned media company providing local news, information and services to the residents of northern New Jersey. The company is headquartered in Woodland Park (formerly West Paterson) and is best known for its flagship daily newspaper, The Record. Stephen A. Borg, President of NJMG, is the fourth generation of his family to act as publisher of the award-winning newspaper, which is at the center of the company's extensive local news-gathering operations in print and online. Stephen's sister, Jennifer Borg, acts as VP and General Counsel for the company. NJMG also publishes the Herald News (which covers Passaic County), more than 40 community newspapers and a family of glossy magazines, including the popular (201), Bergen County's first and only monthly magazine. North Jersey Media Group was formed in 2000 as an umbrella organization for all of the media interests of the Borg family, which has owned The Record since 1930. The company includes a state-of-the-art printing facility.

As of March 8, 2010, North Jersey Media Group is printing three Gannett Company-owned newspapers out of its Rockaway, New Jersey-based printing presses- the Journal News, the Poughkeepsie Journal, and USA Today. North Jersey Media Group does this on a contract basis, as Gannett has outsourced most of its newspapers' printing.

The company employs more than 1,000 people across a dozen locations in North Jersey.
