Northern Ostrobothnia (Finnish: Pohjois-Pohjanmaa; Swedish: Norra Österbotten) is a region of Finland. It borders to the Finnish regions Lapland, Kainuu, Northern Savonia, Central Finland and Central Ostrobothnia, as well as to the Russian Republic of Karelia.
