The Northern Paman languages are a subdivision of the Paman languages consisting of forty languages, all spoken on the Cape York Peninsula of Queensland, Australia. The languages are grouped according to R. M. W. Dixon.[1] In the classification of Ethnologue the Wik languages are treated as Middle Paman languages and the Umpila languages as Northeastern Paman languages.[2]
