Pittsburgh Northview PreK-5 is located in the North Side of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The school building is located specifically in the community known as Northview Heights. Pittsburgh Northview PreK-5 currently has a student population of approximately 334 students.
Pittsburgh Northview PreK-5 partners with the America’s Choice School Design Model,
Full-time literacy and math coaches provide teachers with on-site training and educational strategies to accelerate student learning.
A Parent Engagement Specialist works with parents and community members all stakeholders to help students to meet their full potential.
Pittsburgh Northview PreK-5 also offers a partial Spanish magnet program supported by a dual certified elementary Spanish teacher. Magnet students receive daily Spanish instruction and the Spanish Instructor works with reading and mathematics teachers to infuse Spanish into the content areas.
A school wide behavior management system offers incentives to individual students and classes. A daily morning assembly introduces, models, and reinforces school wide routines.
Pittsburgh Northview PreK-5 has a uniform dress code.
