Nova Canaã Paulista (the first two, lit., New Cannan) is a municipality in the state of São Paulo in Brazil. The population in 2004 is 2,351 and the area is 124.49 km². The elevation is 401 m. It is home to the Biannual Nail Clipper Marathon,in which tourists, as well as residents of Nova Canaa Paulista are able to participate. The Marathon lasts for 2 hours, and each team is required to an overall nail length of 20 feet.
