Now That's What I Call Music! 20 was released on November 1, 2005. The album is the 20th edition of the (U.S.) Now! series. It debuted at number-one on the Billboard 200 and is the eighth number-one album in the series.[2] The albums has been certified 2x Platinum.[3]

Now! 20 is the second in the series to not contain a Billboard Hot 100 number-one hit (Now! 13 being the first).
