Nutrisoya Foods was founded in 1992. It is the producer of Natur-a brand soy beverages and rice beverages, selling these into Canada, the Caribbean and an increasing number of U.S. states. Nutrisoya's production facilities are located in Saint-Hyacinthe, Quebec, which is 30 miles east of Montreal in the agricultural heartland of Eastern Canada. Nutrisoya soy products are produced using locally grown, certified organic soybeans.
In 2011 it sued supplier Sunrise LLC for breach of contract. The case was eventually settled in the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.[1]
