Odweyne is a town in the northwestern Togdheer province of Somaliland, a self-declared republic that is internationally recognized as an autonomous region of Somalia.

Odweyne is the capital of the Odweyne District. From Gatitalay onwards, the town is surrounded by mountains, lakes and farms.

As of 2009, the city has a population of about 170,000 inhabitants.
The Habar Yoonis sub-clan of the Isaaq Somali are especially well-represented.
