The Oklahoma City NASL team is an upcoming American professional soccer team based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma that will compete in the North American Soccer League (NASL) which is catogorized as USSF Division II. Oklahoma City, along with Jacksonville, Florida, was awarded a franchise on July 25, 2013. The expansion bid was awarded to OKC Pro Soccer LLC, headed by Oklahoma City businessman Tim McLaughlin
The team will begin play in the 2015 NASL Spring season. The team won a lease to play at a renovated Taft Stadium by the Oklahoma City School Board.
