The Opel Patent Motor Car, System Lutzmann (Opel Patentmotorwagen „System Lutzmann“ in German) is the first car from the German automaker Opel, after the company went into the automobile business in 1899. The vehicle was built at the Rüsselsheim factory from 1899 to 1902.

The car had a 1.5 liter engine with a single cylinder, which was located in the rear. Its 3.5 PS accelerated the vehicle up to 20 km/h.

In three years of construction, 65 vehicles were built, then the production was discontinued due to the outdated design.
