Open Plus Ltd is a privately held software development and consulting company with headquarters in Edinburgh, United Kingdom.

The company was founded in 2007 by Andrew Sykes and Myles Chippendale. Sykes had been a contributor to the Open for Business Project (OFBiz).[1]

Open Plus is a champion of the use of free and open-source software (FOSS) in the retail industry.[2]

The company is a member of several trade bodies, including the Interactive Media in Retail Group (IMRG), ScotlandIS and Techmesh.

In March 2011 Open Plus joined the Interactive Media in Retail Group (IMRG) and the European E-commerce and Mail Order Trade Association (EMOTA) in lobbying against proposed amendments to the draft Consumer Rights Directive in the European Parliament by writing to UK MEPs and individuals in the British press.[3]

Open Plus is a Magento Solutions Partner, and in September 2011 the company launched InsitePlus, a business analytics software solution for users of the open-source Magento eCommerce platform.[4][5]
