Opera is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Milan in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 10 km southeast of Milan. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 13,395 and an area of 7.6 km².[1]
The municipality of Opera contains the frazione (subdivision) Noverasco.
Opera borders the following municipalities: Locate di Triulzi, Milan, Pieve Emanuele, Rozzano, San Donato Milanese.
