Optiganally Yours is a band formed around the Optigan, a toy organ produced by Mattel in the 1970s that plays the sounds of instruments that have been recorded onto celluloid disks. Pea Hix wanted to form an Optigan-based cover band, but teamed up with Rob Crow to begin writing original songs for the Optigan.
Their second album, Exclusively Talentmaker, was actually recorded on the Chilton Talentmaker and the Vako Orchestron, two closely related organs that offer more chords and the ability to scratch the celluloid disks being played.
