Oral Health Month is an annual event created by the Colgate-Palmolive Company and held in August. Supported by the Australian Dental Association, Oral Health Month seeks to raise public awareness about oral health habits, tackling important issues such as tooth decay and cavities, plaque, tartar, bruxium, gum disease, wisdom teeth issues, dry mouth and bad breath. It aims to help people understand the cause, symptoms and conditions of dental problems as well as ways to improve poor habits.
