Osteopaths may have a right to practice in many countries, but it is incorrect to claim that 85 allow them to perform surgery and prescribe medication. For example, American osteopathic organisations wil often cite the UK as a place in which osteopaths have the right to full practice, when they do not. They cannot perform surgery or prescribe medication. undo
