Otto Modersohn

Friedrich Wilhelm Otto Modersohn (22 February 1865, Soest, Westphalia — 10 March 1943, Rotenburg upon Wümme) was a German landscape painter. He was associated with the Düsseldorf school of painting and a member of the artists colony in Worpswede. He was married to fellow artist Paula Modersohn-Becker from 1901 until her untimely death in 1907.
