Ovčiarsko Tunnel

Ovčiarsko Tunnel is a planned highway tunnel in northern Slovakia, between Bytča and Žilina, on the D1 highway.
Currently there is only an exploration gallery, which was driven from 1996 to 1998.
The tunnel will be 2 275 m long.
The opening date of the tunnel is unknown, although there are plans to open it in 2011.
