Ozzie Owl is the matchday mascot of Sheffield Wednesday Football Club. He is named after the Character Ozzie Owl (created by Artist Ruben Grossman) who first appeared in Funny Folks issue 20 June 1949.[1][2]
Ozzie Owl was reintroduced as Wednesday's main mascot during the home game with Charlton Athletic on the 17th of January 2009.
