[edit] Football career
After starting professionally with local UD Vecindario, Sicilia joined Atlético de Madrid in 2004–05, but was mainly registered with the club's B side. On February 19, 2006, he made his sole appearance with the first team, playing one minute in a 3–0 win at neighbours Getafe CF.
In 2006–07, Sicilia moved to CD Tenerife, being an early automatic first-choice for the Canary Islands outfit.
