Pacific Cascade Middle School is a public secondary school for 6th through 8th grade students in the Issaquah School District of King County, Washington.

The school, which opened in 2005 as Issaquah 9th Grade Campus, is located on the Sammamish plateau in the city of Issaquah, Washington. From 2006 until 2010, the school was a freshman-only high school called Pacific Cascade Freshman Campus which fed from rival high schools Skyline and Issaquah. Dana Bailey has been the Principal of the school since its founding. In the fall of 2010, Pacific Cascade became a middle school enrolling grades 6 through 8.[3] It become one of the 5 middle schools in Issaquah School District. At that time, the high schools (Skyline & Issaquah) expanded to grades 9 through 12.

The facility was built in less than a year at a cost of approximately $26 million. Ground was broken on July 2, 2004,[4] and the buildings were ready by the start of the 2005-06 school year[citation needed]. Construction was not fully completed when the school opened.[5] In its first year the school held about 1,000 freshman students.[citation needed]. The school was designed by Bassetti Architects to accommodate future conversion to a middle school.[6]

The PCMS Math club 8th grade team got 6th place in the Washington State Math Championship 2011 held in Blaine, Washington.[7] That same year, 7th Grade team placed 13th. [8]

In 2011, PCMS qualified in the top 100 in Washington state at the 2011 National Geographic Washington State Bee in Pacific Lutheran University. PCMS later advanced to the top 15 schools in the competition
