The Palawan Flowerpecker (Prionochilus plateni) is a species of bird in the Dicaeidae family. It is endemic to the Philippines.
Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.
The scientific name commemorates the german zoologist Carl Constantin Platen.
