Pan-Asia Technical Automotive Center

The Pan-Asia Technical Automotive Center (or PATAC) is a joint venture between General Motors and Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation. It is a design and engineering center in Shanghai, China, and is involved in engineering for GM products, including the GM Theta platform and Saturn Vue. GM Daewoo's design center also works on a car based on the Theta platform.[citation needed]
