Parabellum was an influential underground Colombian extreme metal band that formed in 1981 in Medellín, Colombia. They are notable as the first extreme metal band from Colombia and one of the very first from all of South America. They were also highly influential to a few later, more well known bands, such as Norway's Mayhem.
