Parteš Municipality (Albanian: Komuna e Parteshit, Parteshi; Serbian Cyrillic: Општина Партеш) is one of the new municipalities in Kosovo.[a] As of 2005, ethnic Serbs were a majority of the population.[1] It is located 8 km (5 mi) south-west of Gnjilane.

There are three settlements in the municipality:

  • Parteš
  • Pasjane
  • Budriga

  1. ^ a b Kosovo is the subject of a territorial dispute between the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Kosovo. The latter declared independence on 17 February 2008, but Serbia continues to claim it as part of its own sovereign territory.
