Pastoral dog

A pastoral dog is any individual dog of any breed or type used for mustering, guarding or otherwise managing livestock.

Pastoral Dog might refer to the:

  • Pastoral Dog Type - any group of dogs of any appearance or heritage actually used for managing livestock
  • Pastoral Dog Group - any of various dog breeds registered in the Pastoral Group of The Kennel Club (UK) (dogs may be pets and never used on livestock).
