Pattabhi Rama Reddy Tikkavarapu, (February 19, 1919 – May 6, 2006) was an Indian film screenwriter, film producer and director, known for his works in Telugu and Kannada industries.

He was born in Nellore, Andhra Pradesh. He studied at Shantiniketan, Calcutta University and Columbia University. He has actively participated in the Emergency opposition movement, human rights movement, and child labour movements as founder member of Peoples Union for Civil Liberties. He also founded the organisation Concerned for Working Children (CWC). Pattabhi Rama Reddy died on 06 May 2006, at the age of 92.
