Pcubed's founder Adrian Balfour had a vision of empowering better program management within global organizations through providing PPM dedicated consultants.[citation needed] Adrian founded Pcubed in 1994 having previously worked in the telecommunications and automotive industries. In 1996 with Paul Driver Pcubed added a consulting practice in the UK. 1997 Germany. 1998 France. 2000 Canada. 2003 Australia. 2006 China.
Pcubed have delivered EPM enabled PMO's for over 950 companies including over 125 for Fortune 500 firms.
Pcubed research group delivers monthly reports on how to make PMO's work through its monthly Insight communication which contains pragmatic advice on how to "leverage" existing process and technology investments to deliver on project promises.

The typeface used in the Pcubed wordmark is t.b. confirmed font. The numeral '3' in place of the upper case 'B' is intended to convey innovation. Pcubed (ie, P to the power 3) is also why the 3 has been used cleverly replace the 'B'.[citation needed]
