[edit] Trivia

Pechanga Resort and Casino is Temecula Valley's number one employer, with about 4,100 employees and the second largest private employer in Riverside County, behind grocery store chain, Stater Bros.[citation needed]

The Showroom Theater has hosted Broadway musicals and headline musical acts including Bob Dylan, magician David Copperfield and comedian Jerry Seinfeld, among others.

At 188,000 sq. ft., Pechanga Resort & Casino's gaming space is bigger than the largest Las Vegas casino, (The Venetian: 120,000 sq. ft.) and with 3,400 slots, has over 2 times as many slots as Caesars Palace.

With the addition of Journey at Pechanga, the resort’s 146-acre footprint (incl: facility, RV Park, parking lots & structures) has more than tripled to 445 acres. By comparison, the nation’s largest casino (and the world’s second largest), the Mohegan Sun, is located on 240 acres.

More than four million buffet meals have been served. Over 750,000 people per year eat at the buffet, while the Temptations Food Walk will serve close to 620,000 persons in a year.

The resort serves only Pechanga Premium Angus Beef, raised on exclusive farms in Northern California. This is done to maintain quality for the approximately 50,000 lbs. of beef used each week. Pechanga also makes its own corned beef brisket, beef jerky and beef hot dogs.
