Pegylated interferon

Pegylated interferon (PEG-IFN) is a class of medication that includes two different drugs as of 2008: [1]
In these formulation, polyethylene glycol is added to make interferon last longer in the body.[2] They are used to treat both hepatitis B[3] and hepatitis C.[1]
