People's Guard of Georgia

The Peoples Guard of Georgia was a volunteer force of Georgian former soldiers and civilians. Strong: 2.000 full time members and 18 field battalions (300-800 soldiers) organised by territory. Wartime formation: 10-12.000 militants. Heads of P.G. was: Valiko Djugeli. Notable persons: Kakutsa Cholokashvili, Aleksander Koniashvili, Sandro Maisuradze, Vladimer Goguadze. [1]
