Crieff and Methven Junction Railway

The Perth, Almond Valley and Methven Railway ran from Almond Valley Junction, 1½ miles north of Perth to the small town of Methven 6½ miles along the Almond Valley.

It linked with the Crieff and Methven Junction Railway at Methven Junction, which opened in 1867.

The line opened on 1 January 1858.

The line was closed to passengers on 1 October 1951, however remained open to freight traffic until September 1967.
