Peta Doodson (6 November 1955) is an Australian television actress. She was more commonly known as playing the hardlined Inspector of police, Inspector Monica Draper, on the hit TV show Blue Heelers.
Doodson was born in Melbourne, Australia in 1955, her mother was a Nurse and her father was an Air Traffic Controller.
In 1972 Doodson began working as a registered nurse and then completed a Bachelor of Arts in Music Theatre. Apart from her role as Monica Draper, she was also the medical advisor on Blue Heelers.
Her last appearance on Blue Heelers was the finale in early 2006. She made appearances in "Neighbours" in 2007 and many other television dramas.
