[edit] Biography

Coffin, a native of Michigan, is a YouTube comedian. He creates a broad range of material, from topical to bizarre, usually releasing one or two new clips a week. He is also known to have been the founding member of a sketch comedy group called "The Stupid Show," which released a DVD entitled "The American Dream" in 2003 and dissolved not long after.

In 2004, he was on Steve Harvey's Big Time twice due to the fact he can kick his own groin. He was again featured for this in 2008, when NBC's Most Outrageous Moments picked up a clip of the feat to use, which was aired in May 2008 and has rerun several times since.

His most viewed clip on YouTube is "I Kicked a Girl," a parody of the Katy Perry song "I Kissed a Girl," which continues to get thousands of hits every day. To date, he has only collaborated with two other YouTubers, being Zack Scott and Nalts.

Coffin has released two albums of comedic music, Audio Diarrhea (2002) and Feces Statues (2003). He has been working on another album of material since Feces Statues was released as indicated by multiple blog posts, though it is believed by some to be of low importance to him. In 2006, he claimed it to be "the Chinese Democracy of bad comedic hip hop albums." He currently does not perform music live, though has said he "would consider it if a load of people actually wanted me to".

He is currently working on a follow-up to his 2008 DVD release, Peter Coffin is a Douche and has said "the plan is to come up with a new DVD every year filled with the best YouTube stuff, things that didn't get finished or just didn't work, making-of footage/bloopers, and a commentary" on his blog.
