Peter D. A. Garnsey FBA FAHA is a professor emeritus of the history of classical antiquity at Jesus College, Cambridge, where he is also a fellow.[1] His area of research concerns the history of political theory, intellectual history, social and economic history, food, famine and nutrition, and physical anthropology.
