Petro is a former settlement in Kern County, California.[1] It was located on the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad 7.25 miles (12 km) north of Wasco,[2] at an elevation of 292 feet (89 m).[1] Petro still appeared on maps as of 1947.[1]
