[edit] Controversies

  • If the device is not used for longer than a year, its SIM card is deactivated and corresponding phone number is recycled. After that existing device cannot be used without a new SIM card that must be ordered from Petro-Canada Mobility for $15.
  • The company sells low-end Nokia unlocked GSM devices.
  • Petro Mobility is not a member of the Commissioner for Complaints for Telecommunications Services (CCTS) so complaints are not as easily resolved as with some other providers.
